WSC was awarded a project by Doosan Heavy Industries in Dec 2015 to provide a Hardware in Loop Simulator for a standalone Gas Turbine and its critical auxiliaries as proof of concept system making use of specialized hardware from dSPACE Inc. The main part of the Gas Turbine Model and its controls had to execute with a 1 millisecond time step and the GT auxiliaries execute at with a 100 millisecond time step. Due to the specialized HW WSC exported models developed in 3KEYMASTER using WSC modeling tools (Flowbase, Combustion, Electrical, Transmitter, Logic, Relay, and Assign) to run on the dSPACE hardware under Simulink in a First of a Kind effort. WSC also for the first time established interfaces between the Auxiliary models and their controls via Profibus connection between the model workstation and controls running on the dSPACE hardware.
